Annex B - Compatibility matrix

AEE is standalone. The core addons depend only on CBA. Compatibility addons load only when their host mod is present. Each compat addon gates on its host with skipWhenMissingDependencies.

ACE3 weather

AEE drives the engine weather directly (setWind, setFog). ACE3’s weather module reads engine state, so it follows AEE automatically. The ACE3 compat addon disables ACE3’s own wind, rain, fog, and overcast simulation to avoid two models fighting.

Keybinds

The weather report and altimeter are also available without ACE3 through CBA keybinds, under the AEE category in the CBA keybind settings.
